Current projects

I’m currently working on the following projects:

  • Updating my own website

  • Updating Sarah’s website with a portfolio

  • Migrating from Google Workspace to a Nextcloud setup for the Voedselboskabouters

  • Volunteer support and infrastructure management for Squads, which includes

    • Maintaining a rented dedicated server on the software side, including virtual machines and firewall.
    • Importing Google Drive files into a self-hosted Nextcloud environment.
    • Deployment and management of Forgejo (self-hosted Git), Nextcloud, and other supporting collaboration software.

Especially from the last two projects (Support and Infrastructure Management & the Migration to Nextcloud) I have learned a lot. I’m glad there are people who appreciate my knowledge and give me the opportunity to learn and discover in my own way how things work in practice.

I’m also still helping people (mostly older people from the Dongen area) with their IT support. This also gives me a sense of fulfillment.
